Juanita V Diaz age 85 of Santa Anna, Texas passed from this life on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at10:30 am at Cornerstone Hospital in Round Rock, Texas

Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, at 11:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Laurent Mvondo officiating. Interment will follow at the Santa Anna Cemetery with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna. Rosary for Family and Friends will be Friday at 7:00 pm with Deacon Ray Nunez officiating,

She was born Juanita Vasquez on November 24, 1931 in Runnels County, TX to Venino Gonzalez Vasquez,, Sr and Elena Ruiz Vasquez. As a lifetime resident of Santa Anna Juanita attended the Santa Anna ISD. On November 5, 1949 Juanita married Bictorino Diaz in Coleman, Texas and they celebrated 52 years of marriage. Bictorino preceded her in death in 2001. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church where she was an active member of the Guadalupe Society and Cruillesta. Juanita was a housewife lovingly taking care of her home and family.

Jason Dee Lewis

Jason Dee Lewis age 37 of Santa Anna, Texas passed from this life on Friday, October 13, 2017 at 10:30 pm at Coleman County Medical Center in Coleman.

Services will be Wednesday at 2:30 pm at Santa Anna Cemetery Pavilion with Rev. Kenny Crenshaw officiating. Interment will follow at the Santa Anna Cemetery with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6:00 till 7:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home.

Jason was born June 15, 1980 in San Angelo, Texas, as God’s answer to a prayer he presented a son to Franklin Dee and Cynthia Tabor Lewis. He was of Baptist faith but also attended churches of other faiths in Santa Anna, Coleman and Brownwood. Jason lived in Santa Anna the past 36 years where he attended Santa Anna ISD K-12 graduating from Santa Anna High. He was a band member and played baseball and basketball. As a member of Boy Scouts of America Jason was an archery champion,

He believed in helping someone each and every day and would joke that he was just trying to keep on HIS good side! He loved collecting tools and watches and giving gifts to his friends just to show how much he thought about them. On March 30, 2015 Jason married Christian Wells in Coleman, Texas and they celebrated two years of marriage.

Jason was preceded in death by his father Franklin Lewis, Brother Bobby Wayne Lewis, uncle Marvin Lewis, and grandparents Ann Stovall Buzbee, Eldon Tabor, Lorene Meadors Lewis and Odie Lewis


James Robert Connolly

James Robert Connolly age 70 of Santa Anna, Texas went to be with his Lord on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 2:24 pm at his residence in Santa Anna.

Services will be Monday, October 9,, 2017 at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church of Santa Anna with Rev. David McLean and Rev. James Jones officiating. Interment will follow at the Santa Anna Cemetery with services under the direction of Henderson Funeral Home of Santa Anna. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 6:00 till 8:00 pm at Henderson Funeral Home.

Bud was born March 30, 1947 in Tahoka, Lynn County, Texas to Charles Glen and Eva Elisabeth Woods Connolly . He graduated from High School and served his country in the Vietnam War as a Navy Chief. On December 4, 1992 Bud married Sandra Reese in Ozona, Texas and they have celebrated twenty five years of marriage. As a resident of Santa Anna he was a member of the First Baptist Church, Masonic Lodge and VFW. Bud was a pipeline inspector traveling overseas.

Homecoming

I heard it was Homecoming but haven't seen anything about it from anyone. I assume most of the traditional Homecoming stuff will happen.
