Job Posting

I am looking for a FedEx home delivery driver.

If you are dependable, and have any commercial driving experience i.e. delivering pizzas, picking people up for church, delivering parts, supplies, papers etc. in the last five years. Anything like that counts.

You don't have to have a CDL. Pay is $600 weekly with a yearly raise. Bonus at Christmas, No insurance, sorry. Work week is Tuesday thru Saturday. Major holidays off.

Route is mainly Coleman, Santa Anna, Winters , Buffalo Gap and Tuscola.

Santa Anna Softball

The Lady Mountaineer softball team lost to Cross Plains last night despite a really good pitching performance by Jaylie Jones.

The ladies are 0-5 in district and will play May in Santa Anna at 5:00 on Friday.

Santa Anna Softball

The Lady Mountaineer softball team lost to San Saba last night but showed tremendous effort.

The ladies are 0-4 in district and will continue their efforts tonight against Cross Plains at 6:00. The game is in Cross Plains.

Coleman Youth Association

The Coleman Youth Association will be hosting player auditions for those who previously signed up for Boys 12U Baseball.

The auditions will be held March 28th and 29th at 3:00 at the Coleman baseball complex.

Each player is expected to attend one session of their choice. This audition allows the coaches to have an idea of each player’s skill level prior to the draft in order to make the teams as even as possible.

Every player will be selected for a team.

Santa Anna Softball

The Lady Mountaineer softball team lost to Goldthwaite last night to go 0-3 in district. The ladies have had a tough start but changes are happening.

The ladies will play in Cross Plains on Friday night at 5:00.

Santa Anna Cemetery Workday

Weather permitting there will be a Spring workday at the Santa Anna Cemetery on Saturday March 28 starting 8:00AM.

Anyone interested in helping can bring gloves, shovels, rakes, hoes, chain saws, pruners, pickups and trailers. You can work on whatever part of the cemetery you have an interest in or help others with general tree trimming.

Bottled water will be available but no restrooms are available at the Cemetery so please plan accordingly.

For those that would like anything done but are unable to attend please call James Pelton at 325-348-6050 or if you have any questions about the Cemetery or workday.

Donations can be sent to the Santa Anna Cemetery Association at PO Box 97 Santa Anna TX 76878.

Help Wanted!

The Santa Anna Cemetery Association is accepting bids for mowing of the Cemetery. The annual contract will begin April 1stand includes mowing and/or shredding as needed, blowing, weed eating and/or spraying.
