Gary James Memorial City Park

The City of Santa Anna Anna Park and Armory Committee is offering a $250.00 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the party or parties who willfully destroyed property at Gary James Memorial City Park. On the night of July 19 someone destroyed city property and tried to gain entry into the armory. They did leave behind evidence that is now in the hands of authorities. This is has been an ongoing problem at the City Park and the committee has set up funds to enforce the Park rules and will be filing charges that may apply.

Please note the following rules for the Park---
(1) No Glass Containers of any kind in the park or civic center areas
(2) Dogs must be on leash and cleanup after your pet
(3) No vehicles of any kind in the grassy areas of the park. Park in road areas only.
(4) Park closes at 11:00 p.m.. Unless visitors are camping in the RV hookup area, all persons must leave the park at that time.

Those found in the park after closing will be considered as trespassing and appropriate action will be taken. Parents of underage children will be held accountable for the actions of their children and destruction of any property at the park. Please be advised that the Gary James Memorial City Park is being maintained for the use of all the citizens of Santa Anna and surrounding areas. Persons who choose to disobey rules and destroy city property will be prosecuted.

We will celebrate together Bible festivals that God provided to help people remember His mighty works and keep following His ways.

VBS will be Monday through Friday, July 11-15, from 3:30-6:00 pm each day, at the church located at 401 S. 1st Street in Santa Anna. Events will begin each day with snack time in the church annex as children arrive at 3:30. Registration will begin at 3:15 pm on Monday, just prior to the 3:30 start time. Each day children will participate in activities that remind them of stories from the Bible, as they contribute to local mission projects, sing some great tunes, create memorable crafts, enjoy delicious treats, and make many new friends.

Friday, July 15, at 5:45 pm, we invite friends and family to share in a time of music and celebration as the children participate in the closing program. Please join us at the Santa Anna Methodist Church for the 2011 VBS adventure.
