Recently a group of high school students attended a speakers’ workshop at Howard Payne University. While there, the group learned about the different aspects of UIL Prose and Poetry Interpretation, Informative and Persuasive Speaking, and Cross-X Debate from HPU forensics students and saw some performances by the university students. This workday helped prepare our students for the upcoming high school UIL meet in March at Cross Plains.
